It's my first time in Nanjing, China and I purposely came to experience its relaxing vibe and rich culture in just one day. Nanjing and a large part of China is a place that’s historically driven by spiritual and dark, I mean very dark past. The ordinary unexplored individual would have a glance at this city and walk away but not me because this place is historically fascinating. What happened here is similar to the genocide that is currently happening in Gaza. There is a place there is always a place like this in China, but this place is unique and vibrant. It has suffered repeated damage over the years.. and the most notable destruction was the 1937 ruins burnt to the ground by Japanese aggressors. But, most of the destruction was restored and today it’s a place admired for its ancient architectural style building of the Ming and Qing dynasties by thousands of people from across China and beyond.
