After six long weeks exploring Australia, Reanne and Ben finally set foot back on Chinese soil, and the relief is palpable. The journey wasn't easy—a 10-hour flight on a budget airline with terrible movie selection tested their patience—but the moment they landed in Hangzhou, the familiar energy of China welcomed them back. The couple, known for their deep love of Chinese technology and convenience, couldn't hide their excitement about returning to a place where robots deliver food and everything feels effortlessly efficient. Their travel day was a masterclass in spontaneous decision-making: originally booked to fly to Guangzhou for a connecting flight, they cleverly skipped the second leg to land directly in Hangzhou, saving hours of travel time. The airport itself impressed them with its modern facilities, including a dedicated e-hailing waiting area that made getting a taxi seamless. Ben couldn't resist sharing his fascination with the famous 'Asian squat,' a skill he admits eludes him completely.
