Travelling from Australia to China for the first time was personally my first time overseas, so the first day was a pretty big shock. But after I settled into the surroundings, it was terrific, I could not ask for a better experience. While yeah, because it was a Trip A Deal, there wasn't anyone our age, we met great new friends and ended up spending the whole trip together. While I am not a travel pro, I think bringing a big bag with a few clothes is worth it. I would definitely go to Shanghai just to shop. Everyone we met in China was lovely and understood the language barrier. I did learn how to say "Sorry, Australian" , as well as, of course, basic phrases. Overall, I would 100% visit China; the Great Wall of China and many of the landscapes we visited were unforgettable. And if you are thinking about documenting your travelling or life in general, I genuinely believe it is worth it.
