How safe did I feel in China?
Extremely safe! I even went for night strolls alone and never felt unsafe.
What surprised me the most about China?
Probably how cheap everything was, especially the food and transportation. And the fact that I could leave the apartment key outside without worrying about it being stolen.

The food was amazing! The fruit was especially delicious, and I loved the noodles and spring rolls.
