After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, the time was right to quit our full-time jobs, so we left everything to travel and have loved every minute of it. Their journey started with a slightly nerve-wracking experience at Singapore airport while checking in for their flight to Shanghai. The process, though lengthy, was ultimately successful, allowing them to embark on their Chinese adventure. They exchanged currency, securing some Chinese Yuan, though mobile payment is widely preferred. A relaxing lounge experience followed before boarding their 5.5-hour flight to Shanghai.
The flight itself was longer than anticipated, providing ample time for movies and rest. Upon arrival in Shanghai, they faced another challenge: immigration. The process proved to be more complex than anticipated, involving multiple checks and causing some anxiety. However, they persevered, receiving their entry stamps and successfully entering China. Their next step was boarding the world's fastest train, a highlight of their trip.
Before showcasing their China experience, they took a moment to highlight their favorite travel gear from Gravel Travel, emphasizing the versatility and durability of their travel blankets and waterproof toiletry kit.
