Hong Kong Exploration: Markets, Views & City Delights

Join us as we hop over to Hong Kong to explore the bustling city, and tell you some tips and tricks that the locals won’t tell you. This is the first vlog in our latest Hong Kong series and covers the first day of our travels in the vibrant mega city. We arrived into West Kowloon, headed to the waterfront to see the magnificent views of the towering skyscrapers against the green mountains, then headed over to Jordan Station to find the famous egg bubble waffles that filled my sweet-tooth dreams.

After settling into our Airbnb we further explored the city by walking through tsim sha tsui, the walk of stars, and have a local lunch. If you know where to look, Hong Kong is also home to streets of budding flower shops in the flower market district and a street full of shops selling goldfish and aquatic life.

The nightlife in Hong Kong is unparalleled. From neon signs above towering buildings, to retro cabs and trams, the smell of Cantonese food and skewers coming from every direction: this has quickly become one of my favourite cities.
