We were told never to do this in China...China is always busy, but during holidays, such as Golden Week, it is on a different level. We have all seen videos from people travelling in China during holidays and the crazy crowds at the stations and airports, and, in our YouTube comment section, we have received so many warnings about doing this in China. Buuuuut we actually need to travel by train across the entire country today, from Kunming to Xi'an. I'm sure it will be fine, right? 😨
