My first train journey in China, travelling from Kunming to Dali, one of the oldest villages in the country. I’ll be staying in Dali Old Town on a friend’s recommendation. I am excited to explore all that this historic area has to offer. I explore the historic area, visit a traditional guesthouse, and enjoy a room tour. I discover unique sights like a 2000-year-old McDonald's and encounter elephants. My experiences include local food, such as hot pot and bubble tea. I relax and enjoy Chinese calligraphy. I visit a unique church and experience Dali's Old Town in the evening, culminating in a wild mushroom hot pot and a massage with a hair wash. The journey showcases the rich culture and charm of Dali.
