Alan and Shannon dive into a Uyghur feast at a restaurant in China, discovering flavors that rarely cross the country's borders. The couple, who have previously traveled to Xinjiang, recall the incredible food in Kashgar and are eager to relive that experience. The restaurant's menu is a colorful array of beef and chicken dishes, all without pork, reflecting the Muslim community's traditions. They order five dishes for just £10, including a beef brisket ramen, cumin lamb rice bowl, potato and beef rice bowl, and beef dry-fried dumplings. The owner even warns them they've ordered too much, but they confidently plan to eat it all.
