Our first day in Shenzhen, China, unveiled a city brimming with technological marvels and vibrant culture. Navigating the efficient Shenzhen Metro, we encountered the ubiquitous, yet sometimes annoying, scooters. Our culinary journey began with a search for a restaurant, ordering and savoring delicious local Shenzhen food, including a delightful dessert. We explored our neighborhood, visited a local food market, and noted the city's impressive cleanliness. A contrast of Chinese and German cars added an interesting element to our observations. Shenzhen's nighttime beauty shone through with an amazing light show and a satisfying street food experience, culminating in a delightful dinner. This initial exploration provided a glimpse into the dynamism of modern China.
