Their next stop is Pingyao, a remarkably preserved Ming Dynasty city. Two Brits On The Go highlight the charm of staying within the ancient city walls, experiencing the nighttime light show projected onto the walls, and the ease of exploring the city on foot.
Xi'an follows, with its renowned Terracotta Army. They recommend booking tickets and tours in advance, suggesting a small group tour for a more immersive experience. They also explore the city's Muslim Quarter and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of local restaurants.
