The Leshan Giant Buddha is the world's largest buddha statue. Seeing this magnificent buddha up close was incredible. We've made multiple attempts trying to go to Chengdu to visit the Leshan Buddha, and finally we were able to go.
While in Leshan we saw the Oriental Buddha Palace that has over 3,000 buddhas throughout the park. This was something we were not expecting to see while visiting Leshan, but it was definitely worth the extra entry ticket.
