Two Mad Explorers embarked on an adventure to Detian Waterfall in Guangxi province, China—a journey they describe as exploring a hidden gem, even though it's one of the world's largest transnational waterfalls. Their trip began with a two-hour bus ride showcasing the stunning karst landscapes of Guangxi. Arriving at Detian, they were immediately awestruck by the sheer scale and beauty of the waterfall, a 70m tall and 200m wide spectacle.
The waterfall's location on the China-Vietnam border added another layer of intrigue. Two Mad Explorers noted the cooperation between the two countries in managing the nature park, expressing curiosity about the possibility of a tour spanning both sides of the border.
Adding to their experience, they took a bamboo raft ride, getting up close and personal with the waterfall's powerful currents.
