On our first full day in Hong Kong we travel around Tsim Sha Tsui, Chungking Mansion, Victoria Harbour, Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong Observation Wheel, take the Star Ferry and go on the Peak Tram to the Sky Terrace to have amazing views. We then catch the MTR to Hong Kong Disneyland to check into our hotel the Disney's Explorers Lodge.
We start our day at our hotel, the Salisbury YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui, we had a King Suite with a harbour view. The room has such a great view of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Harbour.
The first thing we do today was go to the Chungking Mansion to exchange our Chinese Currency to Hong Kong Dollars. We then walk around Tsim Sha Tsui and stroll along the Avenue of Stars by the harbour.
We then get on the Hong Kong Star Ferry and cross the water to Hong Kong Island, we get some Octopus Cards for Matthew and Holly and ride on Hong Kong Observation Wheel (Hong Kong Ferris Wheel).
Next up was the Peak Tram that took us all the way up to Victoria Peak and the Sky Terrace 428 which gave us panoramic views over all of Hong Kong.
After we went back down on the Peak Tram we walked around the Central District and visited Don Don Donki a Japanese store were we purchased snacks, drinks and souvenirs.
We got an early dinner from Jollibee, the first time I have ever visited one and had the Chicken Joy. Before returning to the Salisbury YMCA to pick up our bags from concierge and then catching the MTR all the way to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
We checked in to our Hotel, the Disney's Explorers Lodge and have a good look around before settling in for the night.
